A father before he died said to his son:
ก่อนที่ผู้เป็นพ่อจะตาย ได้พูดกับลูกชายว่า..
“this is a watch your grandfather gave
นี่คือนาฬิกาที่ปู่ของแกให้พ่อมา
and this is more than 200 years old,
และเรือนนี้อายุมากกว่า 200 ปีด้วยนะ
but before I give it to you,
แต่ก่อนที่พ่อจะให้แกไว้
go to the watch shop on the first street, and tell him I want to sell it, and see how much it is”.
แกลองนำมันไปร้านนาฬิกา และบอกเจ้าของร้านว่า ผมอยากจะขายเรือนนี้ แล้วลองดูว่าเขาให้ราคาเท่าไหร่
He went and then came back to his father, and said, "the watchmaker will pay 5 dollars because it's old”.
เมื่อลูกชายได้ยินดังนั้น ก็ทำตาม แล้วกลับมาหาพาเขาพร้อมกับคำตอบว่า “พ่อครับ ร้านนาฬิกาให้แค่ 5 เหรียญเอง มันเก่าแล้วครับพ่อ”
He said to him : “go to the coffee shop”.
“งั้นแกลองไปขายร้านกาแฟ” - พ่อบอกลูกชายของเขา
He went and then came back, and said: “He will buy it for $5 father”.
ลูกชายไปโดยดี และกลับมาหาพ่อเขา “พ่อครับ เขาซื้อนะ แต่ให้แค่ 5 เหรียญเองครับ”
“Go to the museum and show that watch”.
“งั้นแกลองเอาไปที่พิพิธภัณฑ์ดู ลองโชว์เขา”
— He went then came back, and said to his father “They offered me a million dollars for this piece”.
ลูกชายผู้นี้ทำตาม ไปถึงพิพิธภัณฑ์ ผลปรากฎว่า ... “พ่อครับบบ! พิพิธภัณฑ์เสนอให้ 1,000,000 เหรียญ!! เลยครับพ่ออ โอ้โหวว 😮😮
The father said:
ผู้เป็นพ่อได้ยินดังนั้น จึงบอกลูกชายเขาว่า..
“I wanted to let you know that the right place values your value in a way right,
นั่นแหละ พ่ออยากให้ลูกรู้ว่า ถ้าที่ใดใช่สำหรับเรา เขาจะให้คุณค่าเราเสมอออ
don't put yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you don't.
จำไว้นะลูก อย่าอยู่ในที่ ที่ไม่ใช่ที่ของเรา
Who knows your value is who appreciates you,
คนที่เขาให้ค่าเรา ก็เพราะเขาเห็นคุณค่าในตัวเรา
don't stay in a place that doesn't suit you".
