ตอนอายุ 69 ปี Srila Prabhupada ออกจากความสะดวกสบายของอินเดียและตัดสินใจที่จะสอนข้อความที่เป็นอมตะและเป็นสากลแห่งความรักความเมตตาและจิตสำนึกของพระเจ้าจากประเพณีของภักติทั่วทั้งโลก
ในเวลาเพียง 12 ปีความสำเร็จของเขาเพียงเล็กน้อย ได้แก่ :
* Srila Prabhupada ก่อตั้งวัดกฤษณะอาศรมโรงเรียนและชุมชนฟาร์ม 108 แห่ง (ปัจจุบันมีมากกว่า 700 แห่งในปี 2020)

Today 124 years ago the Guru of His Holiness Radhanath Swami, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada appeared on this earth.
A guru is one who takes one from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge, from suffering to true happiness.
Below Radhanath Swami shares a moment almost 50 years ago which convinced him that Srila Prabhupada was his guru and a true messenger of God.
"I met so many gurus who had so many philosophies and I liked almost all of them, because I was just learning. I discuss this in the book I wrote. I remember, I was in Vrindavan in 1971 and I was among 5 or 6 other people sitting around Srila prabhupada. He wasn’t my guru then; he was just one of the saints I was coming to visit. And Srila Prabhupada was visiting Vrindavan for a few days, coming from somewhere else. Somebody asked him, “Are you the guru for the whole world?” He didn’t say anything. I was really very excited with anticipation: what is he going to say? Most people would say, “Yes.” And after he paused for a few minutes, he looked down to the ground. With tears of humility in his eyes, he said, “No, I am the servant of everyone. That’s all.” And I was thinking, “He is really the guru of the whole world! A true guru is not one who claims to be God. A true guru is one who claims to be a humble messenger of God.”
At the age of 69 Srila Prabhupada left the comforts of India and decided to teach the timeless and universal messages of love, compassion and God consciousness from the tradition of Bhakti throughout the whole world.
In just 12 years, a very small glimpse of his achievements include :
* Srila Prabhupada established 108 Krishna temples,ashrams, schools and farm communities (over 700 now in 2020)
* Published 80 volumes of books across 28 languages on the science of self realisation, and Krishna Bhakti Yoga with over half a billion copies of these books sold since 1965.

* He inspired one of the first global chain of vegan & vegetarian restaurants.⠀⠀
* He inspired millions of people to live a God conscious life and dedicate their lives to help better the world by living and teaching the message of love and compassion.

* He circled the globe fourteen times, visiting 24 countries, inspiring his followers and making countless public appearances before multitudes of people. ⠀

* He began the Food for Life charity feeding millions every day throughout the world.
