Why some people change their lives from “poor” to “rich”, but why most people can't?
1
Because most people don't understand the importance of "Time perspective" and make their decisions for short-term results, but, they don't think further to expect the greater results in the long run.
Dr. Edward Banfield of Harvard University studied upward economic mobility for almost 50 years, he wondered why some people can move themselves from labor jobs to riches, but most people can't. His findings are summarized in the "The Unheavenly City" and simple concluded the most important factor that is "the understanding of the time perspective"
• People who have a short-term perspective think of actions in the next "hours, minutes, what to eat, what to do" in just a day.
• Oppositely, People who understand a long-term perspective, they think further in the next "years, Decades, or think for the next generations", or it is called "Future oriented" that they always think what is about to happen in the future.

And long-term thinking sharpens your perspective and ultimately improves the quality of your short-term decision making.
So if you want to change yourselft from "No one" to "Someone". Let's try to think further in the long-term. What will happen in the next 1 year, 5 years, 10 years from your today action, then what will happen next?
Try to practice self-discipline, self-mastery, self-control and willing to "pay the price today in order to enjoy the rewards of a better future tomorrow".
