Thailand and Vietnam Controversy at AFF U 19 2022
Jakarta The U-19 Indonesian National Team had to accept the harsh reality of failing to qualify for the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup semifinals. In fact, they managed to win big against Myanmar in the final match of Group A.

However, Vietnam and Thailand are entitled to rank one and two, thus qualifying for the semifinals, due to their superior head to head. Indonesia finished in third place.
The Vietnam versus Thailand duel drew the spotlight of national football lovers. On social media, there were videos showing that the players from both teams didn't seem serious about playing at the last minute, so there was an 'flirting' sign.
Thailand initially took the lead in the 72nd minute through Kroekhon Arbram. Vietnam hit back five minutes later through Nguyen Van Truong.
After the score changed to 1-1, the Vietnamese and Thai players seemed to have no intention of attacking. As happened in the 86th minute.
