Liverpool Extend Diogo Jota's Contract Until 2027
Liverpool once again managed to secure the services of a valuable asset. Their star, Diogo Jota, confirmed to receive a contract extension from the management of the Reds and will stay at Anfield longer. With the new contract, Jota will last longer, which is until 2027. Diogo Jota has scored 34 goals in 85 appearances since joining Liverpool from Wolves in the summer of 2020; the Portugal international has received extended and improved terms on the five-year deal he initially signed upon arriving at Anfield.
"We are delighted to announce the extension of our new long-term contract with the Reds," Liverpool said in a statement.
