โรงเรียนเกาะสิเหร่ กับหมู่บ้านชาวไทยใหม่ แหลมตุ๊กแก เกาะสิเหร่ มีความสัมพันธ์มาตั้งแต่อดีต เนื่องจากว่า มีที่ตั้งร่วมกันบนเกาะสิเหร่ เปรียบเสมือนบ้านใกล้ เรือนเคียง ที่ตั้งไม่ห่างไกลนัก อีกประการหนึ่งก็คือ เด็กชาวเล ได้มาเรียนที่โรงเรียนเกาะสิเหร่ ตั้งแต่อดีตมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน เมื่อมีงานอะไรที่โรงเรียน
