2. EU 2024/3190 เกี่ยวข้องกับอุตสาหกรรมอะไรบ้าง
เป็นที่ทราบกันดีกว่า Bisphenol A มีการใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมหลายประเภทกันมานานมาก เมื่อมีการตื่นตัวอันตรายจาก Bisphenol A ทำให้มีผู้พยายามหาสารตัวใหม่มาทดแทน แต่สารตัวใหม่เหล่านั้น เช่น Bisphenol S, Bisphenol F ก็มีอันตรายต่อสุขภาพของมนุษย์เช่นเดียวกัน
ดังนั้นกฎหมายฉบับนี้ได้มีการประกาศขอบข่ายที่ชัดเจนมากขึ้น
1. Bisphenol A (BPA), its salts and other hazardous bisphenols and hazardous bisphenol derivatives
2. สารประกอบที่ระบุในข้อ 1 ที่มีการใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมที่สัมผัสกับอาหาร ได้แก่
2.1 Adhesives: สารที่ช่วยป้องกันการรั่วซึม
2.2 Ion-exchange resins: Resins ที่ใช้สำหรับการกรองน้ำ เช่น การทำน้ำ RO เป็นต้น
2.3 Plastics
2.4 Printing Inks
2.5 Rubber
2.6 Silicones
2.7 Varnishes and Coatings
อันตรายที่เกิดจาก Bisphenol A and other bisphenols and their derivatives มีอะไรบ้าง ให้พิจารณาจากสารก่อมะเร็ง (Carcinogen), สารที่มีผลกระทบกับการกลายพันธุ์ (Mutagenic or Toxic to Reproduction: CMR) ที่ระบุใน Category 1A , 1B
สารที่มีผลกระทบกับการทำงานของต่อมไร้ท่อ ที่มีผลกับสุขภาพของมนุษย์ ระบุรายละเอียดใน Category 1 Part 3 (Annex VI)
