KMITL Launches “7 INSPIRATIONS (Phase 3)” to Drive Inclusive Media Innovation

Bangkok, Thailand — May 23, 2025 – King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has officially announced its collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to advance the “Creative Media Innovations for Disability Communication: 7 INSPIRATIONS (Phase 3).”
The initiative, funded by the Fund for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, aims to harness the power of creative media to promote understanding, positive attitudes, and equal opportunities for people with disabilities across Thailand.
The press conference took place at the Prasom Rangsirojana Auditorium, Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design, KMITL, and highlighted the production of seven short films that capture the inspiring real-life stories of individuals with disabilities. Each story represents a different type of disability, showcasing resilience, creativity, and the potential to thrive despite challenges.
“Creating positive attitudes and communication tools that enhance understanding in society is one of our most important missions,” said Mrs. Natthar Inthisri, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. “This project offers authentic and inspirational narratives that can drive social change and foster inclusivity nationwide.”
Ms. Wisthida Uiyyatayakul, Director of the Fund, added,
The use of creative media has a unique power to shape public perceptions and attitudes. By presenting real stories of people with disabilities filled with strength and determination, these films will help build empathy, acceptance, and equal opportunities across communities.
