KMITL Announces “Eastern KMITL Campus” to Drive EEC & Global Learning
Bangkok, Thailand — September 1, 2025 — King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) has announced the establishment of the Eastern KMITL Campus in Chachoengsao Province. The new campus aims to support the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and promote “Global Learning,” creating a comprehensive learning center in Thailand’s eastern region.
The initiative, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khomsan Maleesee, President of KMITL, and supported by the institute’s executive board, industry representatives, the provincial administration, and the local chamber of commerce, reflects KMITL’s commitment to expanding education and research opportunities.
The Eastern KMITL Campus will be closely linked with the main Ladkrabang campus and designed as a fully integrated learning space. During a recent stakeholder meeting at Wat Phanitram, Ban Pho District, executives and community representatives discussed preparations for the project, underlining the importance of education accessibility, local economic growth, and industry-driven research.
“The establishment of the Eastern KMITL Campus marks an important step in extending KMITL’s role as a global learning hub, ensuring that education and research directly benefit communities and industries in the eastern region,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khomsan Maleesee, President of KMITL.
