“วนสุขาวิถี” (The Sylvan Code) คือปรัชญาการออกแบบที่มุ่งยกระดับสุขาสาธารณะ ไปสู่การเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบนิเวศโดยรอบ โดยให้สถาปัตยกรรมถูกวางตัวอย่างถ่อมตน สอดคล้องกับ สัจธรรมของธรรมชาติ ผ่านการหลอมรวมระหว่างสิ่งแวดล้อม วัสดุ และพื้นที่ใช้งาน เพื่อสร้างความยั่งยืนทั้งในมิติทางกายภาพและจิตสำนึก
แก่นของ “วนสุขาวิถี” คือการเคารพบริบทธรรมชาติ ลดการรบกวนพื้นที่ป่าและระบบแวดล้อมเดิมให้น้อยที่สุด การออกแบบจึงเลือกใช้แนวคิดของ การแทรกซึม (Infiltration) ซึ่งให้แสง เงา กลิ่นดิน เสียงลม และบรรยากาศของพื้นที่โดยรอบ ค่อย ๆ ไหลซึมเข้าสู่โครงสร้าง ผ่านช่องเปิดและองค์ประกอบทางสถาปัตยกรรม เพื่อก่อเกิดประสบการณ์สุขาภิบาลที่สงบ เป็นส่วนตัว และเชื่อมโยงกับธรรมชาติอย่างแนบเนียน
ในมิติของวัสดุ “วนสุขาวิถี” ให้ความสำคัญกับวัสดุท้องถิ่นและการสื่อสารผ่านคุณสมบัติแท้จริงของวัสดุนั้น ๆ ผิวสัมผัสและร่องรอยตามธรรมชาติถูกเปิดเผย อย่างตรงไปตรงมา ไม่ปกปิด ไม่ปรุงแต่ง เช่น ผนังดินบดอัด (Rammed Earth) ที่เผยชั้นสีและโครงสร้างของดิน หรือไม้ขัดหยาบที่ไม่เคลือบผิวสังเคราะห์ วัสดุเหล่านี้โดยสามารถซ่อมแซม ปรับเปลี่ยน และติดตั้งใหม่ได้ง่ายตามกาลเวลา ยอมรับความเสื่อมสภาพในฐานะส่วนหนึ่งของวัฏจักรธรรมชาติ และเป็นภาษาที่เชื่อมโยงมนุษย์กับสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน

Architecture is positioned with humility, aligned with the fundamental truths of nature, through the synthesis of environment, materiality, and spatial use fostering sustainability in both physical performance and human consciousness.
At the core of “Wan Sukhawithi (The Sylvan Code)” is a profound respect for natural context, aiming to minimize disturbance to the forest and its existing ecological systems. The design therefore adopts the concept of Infiltration, allowing light, shadow, the scent of earth, the movement of wind, and the ambient qualities of the site to gradually permeate the architectural form through openings and spatial elements.
This approach creates a sanitary experience that is calm, private, and seamlessly connected to nature.
In terms of materiality, “Wan Sukhawithi (The Sylvan Code)” emphasizes the use of local materials and the honest expression of their inherent qualities.
Textures and natural traces are revealed directly unconcealed and unembellished such as rammed earth walls that expose the stratification and structure of the soil, or rough-sawn timber left untreated by synthetic coatings. These materials are inherently adaptable they can be repaired, modified, or reinstalled over time, embracing aging and deterioration as part of the natural cycle. In doing so, materiality becomes a language that sustainably reconnects humans with their environment.
