The Arch of Constantine; one of the best preserved monuments from ancient Rome and its excellent location between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill, makes it one of the most photographed points of the city.

It was elected in 315 AD to celebrate the victory of Emperor Constantine the Great over Maxentius, which took place on 28 October 312 AD in the battle of Ponte Milvio.
Built by partially reusing materials and architectural elements from more ancient imperial monuments, belonging to the age of Trajan, Hadrian and Marcus Aurelius.
It is 21 meters high, 25 meters wide and is the largest of the three triumphal arches still preserved in Rome.
