Nestlé Clarifies QCP Dispute, Rejects Allegations Involving Former Executives
Nestlé has issued a statement rejecting allegations concerning two former executives in connection with Quality Coffee Products Co., Ltd. (QCP), while reaffirming its commitment to corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws.
According to the company, police summonses were issued to two individuals to provide further information regarding a complaint filed by Prayudh Mahagitsiri. One had previously worked for QCP, while the other had worked with the company.
Nestlé stated that both individuals had already departed Thailand following resignation and retirement before the summonses were issued. The notices were consequently delivered to locations where they no longer lived or worked.
The company added that any potential arrest warrants may have resulted from their non-appearance following the summonses, while stressing that the allegations underlying the complaint have not been adjudicated by a court or other authority.
Nestlé also reiterated that its joint venture agreement with QCP ended on December 31, 2024, after which QCP no longer had the right to manufacture NESCAFÉ products.
Former QCP Managing Director Ramon Mendivil resigned in January 2026, while Victor Seah, former Chairman and CEO of Nestlé Indochina, retired on June 30, 2026 after eight years in Thailand.
Nestlé said it remains committed to its operations in Thailand, including supporting Thai farmers and continuing to procure locally grown Robusta coffee beans.
