I traveled so much, too much this couple months, The money in my little pocket is running out hahaha. So I had to go hunt for clams to cook. Yesterday I was hunting at Saphan Hin.
I have been there before and saw people looking for them.
I checked on the tide webside and It said low tide would be at 1 pm. I got there by 12.30 pm. but what happened was the water was up, and It started to rain. I met an old lady, She said that she came there at 10 am. She found alot of clams almost half of the big bucket. Let me show you in photos.
I hope I can find as many as her. Let's get started looking for my food! How many clams do you think that I can find ? I dug a shallow hole, and It didn't take a long time before I found the first one. I was happy! To be honest, I thought I won't find any. In Thailand We called them Sweet clams. They have a black and chubby body, look so tasty, if you go to buy this clams in the market the price will be 70 - 100 baht per kilogram.
It was rainning harder and harder, the water was rising. Those two people had alot of clams. I wanted to ask them for some and acted cool like I found alot too haha but I didn't do that.
I only found 7 clams, Poor me! I went back home and I wanted to make a delicious dish. After I run out of the shower, I was excited to cook them. I made Spaghetti with Thai Basil and 7 clams. This is my yummy dinner. 😍
