สรุปรายชื่อหนังที่มีสิทธิเข้าชิงออสก้าร์ครั้งที่ 97 ในสาขาแอนิเมชัน, สารคดี และ ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติ
สัญญาณอย่างนึง เมื่อเข้าใกล้ช่วงท้ายปี ก็คือการที่เวทีออสก้าร์เตรียมปัดฝุ่นเพื่อจัดงานเพื่อเชิดชูเกียรติให้กับเหล่าภาพยนตร์ที่ฉายในรอบปีที่ผ่านมาครับ ซึ่งเมื่อช่วงอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา ทางคณะกรรมการฝ่ายบริหารของสาขาเทคนิคพิเศษ สถาบันศิลปะและวิทยาการด้านภาพยนตร์ (AMPAS) ได้ทำการประกาศ รายชื่อภาพยนตร์ที่มีสิทธิเข้าชิงออสก้าร์ครั้งที่ 97 ในสาขาอย่าง ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันยอดเยี่ยม ภาพยนตร์สารคดียอดเยี่ยม และ ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติยอดเยี่ยม
โดยภาพยนตร์ทุกเรื่องในรายชื่อนี้ คือ ภาพยนตร์ที่ถูกส่งเข้ามา และผ่านหลักเกณฑ์ที่ทางคณะกรรมการฯ ตั้งขึ้นในแต่ละสาขา โดยปีนี้ ก็มี ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชัน มีสิทธิเข้าชิงสาขา ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันยอดเยี่ยมถึง 31 เรื่อง
ซึ่งก็เต็มไปภาพยนตร์จากสตูดิโอฮอลลีวู้ดอย่าง “Inside Out 2“, “Kung Fu Panda 4“, “Moana 2“, “Transformers One“, “Ultraman: Rising” และ “The Wild Robot” รวมถึงภาพยนตร์สัญชาติญี่ปุ่นอย่าง “The Colors Within“, “Ghost Cat Anzu“, “The Imaginary“, “Look Back” และ “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim”
หรือกระทั่งแอนิเมชันหลากสัญชาติอย่าง “Flow” จากลัตเวีย, “The Glassworker” จากปากีสถาน (ทั้งสองเรื่องนี้ ต่างเป็นตัวแทนประเทศลัตเวียและปากีสถาน ในสาขา ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติด้วย , “Mars Express” จากฝรั่งเศส และ “Memoir of a Snail” จากออสเตรเลีย
ส่วน สาขา ภาพยนตร์สารคดียอดเยี่ยม ในปีนี้ ก็มี ภาพยนตร์สารคดีที่มีสิทธิเข้าชิงมากถึง 169 เรื่อง ก็มาพร้อมสารคดีตัวเต็งแบบ “Will & Harper” จาก Netflix, “Daughters” ของนาตาลี เร, “Dahomey” ของ มาติ ดีออป (ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนจากประเทศเซเนกัลในสาขา ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติด้วย), “Black Box Diaries” ของ ชิโอริ อิโต้, “The Last of the Sea Women” ของ Apple TV+ และ “No Other Land” สารคดีจากปาเลสไตน์-อิสราเอล
และ สาขา ภาพยนตร์นานาชาติยอดเยี่ยม ในปีนี้ก็มี 85 ประเทศส่งภาพยนตร์ตัวแทนเข้าชิงในสาขาดังกล่าว และก็มีภาพยนตร์สายแข็งอย่าง “The Seed of the Sacred Fig” จากเยอรมัน, “Emilia Pérez” จากฝรั่งเศส, “I’m Still Here” จากบราซิล, “The Girl with the Needle” จากเดนมาร์ก, “Kneecap” จากไอร์แลนด์, “Grand Tour” จากโปรตุเกส รวมถึงประเทศไทย ที่ปีนี้คัดเลือกส่ง “How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies” หรือ “หลานม่า” เป็นตัวแทนชิงในสาขานี้
ทั้งนี้ ทุกสาขา จะมีการลงคะแนนโหวตรอบแรก ในวันที่ 9 – 13 ธันวาคม 2024 นี้ โดยที่แต่ละสาขาจะมีเงื่อนไขในการโหวตต่างกัน เช่น ในสาขาภาพยนตร์นานาชาติยอดเยี่ยม คณะกรรมการฯ จากทุกสาขาจะถูกรับเชิญให้ร่วมโหวต โดยจะมีการลงคะแนนสองครั้ง ซึ่งรอบแรก สมาชิกจะมีสิทธิลงคะแนนได้ ก็ต่อเมื่อดูภาพยนตร์ตามขั้นต่ำที่กำหนด แต่ในรอบเสนอชื่อเข้าชิง สมาชิกต้องดูภาพยนตร์ที่ติดโผครบหมดทั้ง 15 เรื่อง ถึงจะมีสิทธิลงคะแนนเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงได้
โดยงานประกาศรางวัลออสก้าร์ครั้งที่ 97 นี้ จะมีการประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรอบคัดเลือกแรก 15 เรื่อง ในวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2024 นี้ และจะมีการประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงของทุกสาขา ในวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2025 และจะมีการจัดงานประกาศรางวัลขึ้นในวันที่ 2 มีนาคม 2025
