Many recognize the Maine Coon by its lion-like size, but did you know another charm is their incredible variety of colors and patterns? Today, Mainecoon 4289 introduces the popular colors every cat lover should know.
Tabby: The most classic, wild-look pattern. Includes swirled (Classic) and striped (Mackerel) patterns. Popular colors are Brown Tabby and bright Red Tabby.
Solid: Elegant and luxurious. The entire cat is one color without markings, like Solid White (snow-like), Solid Black (mysterious), or Solid Blue (dark grey).
Smoke: Cool and mysterious! They look solid externally (usually black or blue), but the undercoat root is bright white. When they move, the white flashes through like smoke.
Calico & Tortie: Lucky colors, mostly found in females. Calico has distinct patches of white, black, and red. Tortie colors are more blended. They often have unique "Tortitude" personalities.
Bi-Color: Any color mixed with "white," like Black & White (Tuxedo), Red & White, or Blue & White. White socks or masks add extra cuteness.
