The Place Where We Will Meet Again
Dear, My Memory,
Have you ever visited a place that changed your life forever?
Some people believe that certain places are destined to bring two souls together, no matter how far apart they may be.
For me, that place is Korat.
How remarkable that sounds.
This was the place where we first met, laughed together, shared moments of happiness and sadness, and created memories that became some of the most precious moments of our lives.
Every photograph of you makes me feel as though you are still here. Yet the truth is that you now live only in my memories. Once, I told you that this was a sacred place, a place that would someday bring us together again.
I would love to share these remarkable stories with you. If you have memories of your own, I hope you will share them as well.
It is unbelievable how fate works. Even when two people are far apart, life can unexpectedly bring them together again here in Korat.
Or perhaps I should say that you crossed oceans, countries, continents, and countless miles just so our paths could meet once more.
After we met here and later parted ways, I wanted to tell the sky how much I missed you. I wished I could whisper to the wind and ask it to carry my messages to you.
Sometimes, I wished I could disappear into the air, becoming part of the wind itself, so I could be everywhere with you. You would not see me, but I would always be there beside you.
I am grateful that I had the chance to meet you. Although reality was not quite the way I once dreamed it would be, I am thankful that our paths crossed at least once in this lifetime.
Thank goodness for these stolen moments. Thank you for giving me memories that I will treasure forever.
I am happy to see you chasing your dreams and pursuing the life you have always wanted. Even though I am not the one standing beside you, I will continue to pray for your happiness and wish only the best for your future.
I am proud of you.
And no matter where life takes us, you will always have a place in my heart.
