Indorama Ventures Showcases Three Recycled Fashion Collections at RECO Collective 2026, Advancing Circular Economy Opportunities
Industry partnerships connect recycled yarn, textile development, digital printing and retail opportunities to support Thai designers.
Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited showcased three distinctive fashion collections from Thai brands CHANA, KH EDITIONS and APPEAL Summerwear at the RECO Collective 2026 Final Show, held at NEXTOPIA, Siam Paragon.
Presented under the theme “THE NEXT ORIGINAL,” the collections feature fabrics developed using Indorama Ventures' deja™ recycled polyester yarn, produced from post-consumer PET bottles.
The initiative demonstrates how used materials can be transformed into fashion products with distinctive designs while connecting material innovation with opportunities across the creative economy.
Connecting the Circular Fashion Value Chain
RECO Collective 2026 brings together partners with expertise in materials, textile manufacturing, technology, design and retail.
Indorama Ventures provides deja™ recycled polyester yarn and recycling expertise, while Bulliontex transforms yarn into fabric and offers technical support to participating designers.
Epson contributes digital textile printing technology, enabling brands to express their creative identities through patterns and colors.
Meanwhile, retail partners NEXTOPIA and ECOTOPIA help create opportunities for the collections to reach consumers and gain greater market exposure.
Together, the collaborations illustrate how recycled materials can be supported through a broader value chain rather than remaining solely an experimental design concept.
Three Brands, Three Distinctive Fashion Collections
CHANA – THE MIRAGED SYMMETRY
The collection draws inspiration from Saudi Arabia's desert landscapes and the reflective architecture of the Maraya Concert Hall. It brings together flowing natural forms and structured contemporary designs.
KH EDITIONS – HIGHWAY LEGACY
Inspired by Thai street culture and road travel, the collection transforms recycled polyester fabrics into expressive streetwear under the brand's “Kick it to the Highway” concept.
APPEAL Summerwear – BEYOND THE BLUE
Featuring wave-inspired textures, vibrant colors and relaxed silhouettes, the collection reimagines summer fashion through versatile garments designed for leisure and everyday wear.
Each brand demonstrates a different creative approach to fabrics derived from the same recycled polyester material.
Supporting Emerging Designers and Business Development
Beyond the runway, RECO Incubation Lab connects emerging designers with experienced industry mentors.
The program provides practical guidance on materials, product development, functionality and market relevance, helping participants build capabilities that can support their brands over the long term.
Aradhana Lohia Sharma, Vice President, Finance and Fibers Business at Indorama Ventures, highlighted the power of creativity to give used materials new identities.
She emphasized the initiative's role in bringing together industry knowledge, mentoring and partnerships to help designers develop products for consumers while building sustainability-focused brands.
From Design Competition to Creative Industry Platform
Launched in 2011 as the RECO Young Designer Competition, RECO has involved more than 1,000 designers across 12 editions.
Its evolution into RECO Collective reflects a broader commitment to connecting creative talent with material innovation, industry expertise and commercial opportunities.
The initiative highlights how collaboration across the fashion value chain can encourage the wider adoption of recycled materials while supporting the development of Thailand's creative economy.
