'หมวดบุ๊ค' ได้แสดงความหาญกล้าในการกรุยทางให้กองพันทหารราบที่ 31 รักษาพระองค์ (ร.31 รอ.) บุกเข้ายึดพื้นที่ดังกล่าวคืนได้อย่างสำเร็จ
แม้จะต้องแลกมาด้วยการสูญเสียขาขวา ที่พลาดเหยียบกับระเบิดของทหารกัมพูชาในระหว่างปฏิบัติหน้าที่อันสำคัญยิ่งนี้

'Lieutenant Book' displayed audacious courage by paving the way for the 31st Infantry Regiment, Royal Guard (R.31 Ro. - Rattana-Raksa Phra Ong), to successfully recapture the area. This achievement came at a heavy cost, as he tragically lost his right leg after stepping on a Cambodian landmine during this crucial mission.

Despite his severe injuries, 'Lieutenant Book' could still smile with pride, knowing that his assigned mission was accomplished and that he successfully enabled his unit to seize this vital objective, ensuring the preservation of Thai territory with dignity.
