Kozuri: CentralWorld’s Handroll Sushi with a City View
We recently visited CentralWorld once again (if you remember our Naisnow reel). This time, we’re back to a local go-to choice: sushi. Even though raw fish might be a bit much for some, Kozuri adapts the flavours to suit local palates and serves generous portions.
On the second floor of Groove, we tried the 7-Roll Set (1,290 THB), featuring every classic seafood bite you’d expect from a sushi set. Salmon, hotate, red shrimp (which you can upgrade to lobster), toro tuna, snow crab, and Japanese grilled unagi eel with cream cheese (which you can also upgrade cheese to foie gras) arrive one by one for you to taste. We’d say the freshness and texture of these handrolls are the main signatures sushi fans love to try.
As for the setup, there are two dining bars: you can sit right in the middle of the open kitchen, or pick the bar looking through the window at the bustling life on Rama I Road. At both zones, chefs skilfully craft each piece as a traditional handroll.
If you love good sushi with a city view, Kozuri should definitely be on your list.
