Century Plaza: Where You Can Watch a Movie for Just 119 THB
Moviegoers around the world surely wait for Wednesdays to watch their chosen films because it is the cheapest day of the week. However, as working adults, we do not always have time during weekdays. Luckily, we finally managed to make time for a Wednesday cinema run to enjoy the budget-friendly price of 119 THB.
This Wednesday promotion is available at Century The Movie Plaza (both Victory Monument and Sukhumvit branches). We watched Spider-Man: Brand New Day during our visit, and the price was 119 THB all day. Plus, you can upgrade to a bigger deluxe seat for only 129 THB! Naturally, the experience would not be complete without a bucket of popcorn, which you can get alongside two soft drinks for only 189 THB.
We would say the experience was great. The seating is big and comfortable, and the service is good. The long pre-show adverts are understandable (imagine having to watch trailer after trailer for 30 minutes!). Overall, it is definitely worth checking out. Century was the place to be when Victory Monument was the primary transit hub, but even now, it is still cool.
