A : Item #8 says: An awakened species shares everything with everyone all the time. Humans in an unawakened state often do not, only sharing with others in limited circumstances.
You would never consider walking down the street in a rainstorm and holding an umbrella over your head alone, saying to your partner or your children: “Too bad you don’t have an umbrella, too, but them’s the breaks.”
You would never think of eating all the apple pie by yourself without sharing with your partner or your children, saying: “Too bad there isn’t enough here for all of us, but I’m sure going to enjoy mine.”
I’ve used lighthearted examples, but you understand perfectly well the concept of refusing to profit or benefit if you are the only one who is profiting or benefiting, when it is your own family or loved ones who are suffering because you are not sharing.
